LONDON CALLING: Support the Pride of Dayton

LONDON BAND WEEK 2025

The Pride of Dayton is excited to announce that we have accepted an invitation to perform at the London Band Week in June of 2025.

The trip includes a performance at the London Tattoo with the Band of His Majesty's Royal Marines and many other bands from across the UK, POD in Concert at Tower Bridge, and a parade performance at the legendary Hampton Court. Students will also be immersed in the British culture with tours of Windsor Castle, an up-close view of the Changing of the Guard, and special access to some of the most iconic landmarks in London.

Who Are We?

The Pride of Dayton Marching Band is a show band from the University of Dayton, recognized for our energetic parade dances and powerful halftime performances. Affectionately known as “POD” to members, we are a reflection of our Catholic, Marianist values. Whether it’s hot or cold, rain or shine, it’s always a great day to be a Flyer!

The Impact

We will be representing the University of Dayton at the center of a global celebration. The Pride of Dayton will participate in a series of unique performances where we will share the stage with some of the premier musical ensembles in the world.

What Your Gifts Will Do

Your gift helps us pay for busses, airfare, the transport of equipment, and other expenses that are currently built in to the price for students. This includes six nights in London.
