What is the University Honors Program?
The University Honors Program (UHP) is designed to support talented and motivated students searching for ways to get more from the UD experience. We offer rigorous and expansive educational opportunities to academically accomplished students so that they can take the learning they do in the classroom to the next level. UHP presents unique chances to succeed beyond the normal college experience with enriched courses, experiential learning and an inspiring, collaborative camaraderie with fellow students.
The Project
The University Honors Program House (located on Stonemill) and Honors Student Study Center (housed in Alumni Hall) have been used and loved by hundreds of Honors Students. Over a decade ago the Honors House was generously gifted a propane grill, picnic table and TV. Similarly, the Honors Student Study Center was last updated a decade ago. After years of use, we want to provide fresh and updated spaces for our Honors students to learn and build community.
What Your Gifts Will Do
With nearly 700 Honors Students on campus, your gift will help support these exceptional students during their time at UD. Your donations would help us purchase badly-needed new items for the Study Center (mini-fridge and microwave) and House (new grill and picnic table) as well as support for snacks and community-building programming for the study space.

This is incredible!
We are halfway through our campaign and we are already over two-thirds of the way to our goal, and can feel the immense support for the Honors Program student community!
We are encouraged by the generosity thus far and hopeful that we will reach our goal in no time! Sharing our campaign with your networks is a great way to spread the word.
This community is continuously growing, and here in the Honors Program we are thankful that we have such incredible students who are eager to foster this community on campus and grow in resources to build it up.
Wow!
Only one week into our campaign and we are nearing 50% of our goal to support the University Honors Program students' community!
We are incredibly grateful for those that have already given. This week students gathered at the Honors House for a pizza and trivia night.
As you know, UD is about community, and we are so excited to support our Honors students as they build their own communities here on campus.
