The Project
The University of Dayton Equestrian Club is raising funds to improve our program for current and future members. Currently, our club is providing our own transportation, show fees, lesson fees and other association fees. This can become expensive very quickly for showing and non-showing members. Increasing our funding would allow our club to include as many riders as possible!
Who We Are
The University of Dayton Equestrian Club is a special interest club here at UD that allows students to interact with horses on a variety of different levels. No experience with horses is required. Our members have the opportunity to take lessons, work around horses, and attend Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) shows. Our club has both a Hunt Seat IHSA Team and a Western IHSA team. Students with any sort of experience are welcome to join!
The Impact
The University of Dayton Equestrian Club aims to include all members of the UD community in the sport of horseback riding. Horseback riding can lower stress levels, be an opportunity to get outside and is a way for an individual to connect with other riders.
What Your Gifts Will Do
All money raised will be put towards IHSA team fees, club member dues, team apparel, show fees, lesson fees and fees involved with transportation.
