About

The Project

Remedy A Cappella is one of the premier collegiate A Cappella groups in the Midwest, and we are gearing up to expand our competitive legacy over the course of another season of competitions and performances. We're also working to record and master a special selection of our best award-winning competition performances for use at University of Dayton events and activities.

Remedy is seeking special funding general operating costs to make sure that it has the ability to continue achieving competitive success on behalf of UD. These costs include travel and lodging expenses related to national competitions and out-of-state performances, professional music arrangements, audio equipment repair and replacement, and competition entrance fees. Any additional dollars raised will benefit the production of digital music files for use at UD events.

Who We Are

Collegiate A Cappella has grown in popularity over the past few decades, and the University of Dayton has quickly established itself as one of the premier A Cappella powerhouses of the Midwest. Remedy, one of UD’s student-run groups, has achieved great competitive success, being multi-time regional champions, winning multiple awards for individual performance, and being slated to compete for national finals before the pandemic. We hope to continue this competitive success this year and in the years to follow, spreading the Marianist values of community and education of the whole person all across the country through our performances.

The Impact

Remedy prides itself as a representation of the UD community to those both in and outside said community. Our continued competitive success will serve to spread the mission of the University of Dayton on a national stage, while our digital recordings will stand as a permanent symbol of the spirit of the UD community.

What Your Gifts Will Do

Your generous donation will go directly towards operating expenses including but not limited to interstate travel, overnight lodging, competition entrance fees, the production of digital recordings and audio equipment repair and replacement.
